Installation
Tringmain
supply an extensive range of secure enclosures
for both Digital and Analogue recording equipment
and cassette storage. Tringmain will deliver
and install if required.
Tape
Supply
New
high quality, Fuji, BASF or TDK serially numbered
video tapes with an agreed number of spares
are delivered in a Tringmain Security transit
case and loaded into the storage cabinets.
Documentation
& Training
Tringmain
Security standard documentation can be modified
to suit customers specific requirements. Customers
staff are given training in procedures.
Audit
Trail
Cassettes
are supplied with unique serial number spine
labels, the same serial number appears on
the tape log sheet. In the event that a tape
is misplaced it can be traced via its serial
number to its site of origin via the comprehensive
data base held by Tringmain.
Tape
Erasure
Tringmain
Security supply a low cost range of electromagnetic
tape erasers to serve the specific requirements
of CCTV users. 'The medium on which the images
are captured should be cleaned so that images
are not recorded on top of images recorded
previously'. Source: Code of Practice issued
by the Information Commissioners Office July
2000. The primary purpose of erasure is to
ensure that no residual images from previous
recordings are discernible.

Subject
Right of Access documentation is supplied
within the logbook system and a comprehensive
editing and management facility is provided
throughout the term of the contract. Pre-prepared
statutory signage is installed in agreed locations.
Statutory
Signs
Standard
format signs are produced in A3, A4 and A5
size in a wide range of materials and finishes
including, Self Adhesive Vinyl, Powder Coated
Aluminium, Polished Brass and Mirror Finish
Stainless Steel.
We will be pleased to quote for signs to suit
the customers corporate style if preferred.
Archiving
Use
expired video tapes are placed into the transit
case which is securely sealed and returned
to the Tringmain archive store to complete
the pre-agreed archive period. In the event
that access to recordings is required during
the Tringmain archive period cassettes are
returned to site the following working day.
Recording
Quality Spot Checks
Upon
expiry of the archive period the cassettes
are then spot checked for recording quality
and quantity audited against known serial
numbers. Each transit case is supplied with
a Recording test Cassette and at the time
of delivery a series of recordings are made
proving the efficacy of VCR, Multiplexer and
Cameras. Upon expiry of the archive period
the test tape is replayed and any shortfall
in recorded quality brought to the attention
of the customer.
Certified
Mechanical Destruction
Cassettes
are then mechanically destroyed and a certificate
of destruction issued to the customer.
